Refurbishment

Dereham Maltings

The scheme entailed extensive structural repairs and weatherproofing of a dilapidated maltings building. The building had been unused for a considerable amount of time, awaiting a suitable use and a new owner, and as a result, the structure was in a state of disrepair and rapidly becoming unsafe. The works involved significant removal of asbestos and other hazardous materials from areas that were challenging to access. NCL Contractors were able to secure the project with a competitive bid, utilising the expertise of scaffolding and removal contractors to provide safe and cost-effective solutions to the complicated works. The completion of the structural repairs and installation of a new roof ensured the preservation of this heritage building for the future and its next use.
